One of the amazing things about Downtown Fort Worth and all of the Classic Buildings is the Will Rogers Center. It is best know for the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock show every year. Most folks do not know that it has a Flee Market in the small exhibits area most Saturday and Sundays.
Built in 1936 in time for the Texas Centennial, it covers over 85 acres. With it’s landmark Pioneer Tower and first of it’s kind Domed Coliseum, it also includes a 2856 seat auditorium that has hosted acts like Benny Goodman and the Vienna Boy’s Choir as well the Rolling Stones.
The Center also plays host to numerous events every year from dog shows to Rodeo Qualifying events. It hosts concerts as well as dance recitals. It is a MUST know for things to do in Fort Worth.
